Eric Thomas joined DFI in 2015 and is currently managing multiple mixed-use development projects across North Carolina, including the master development of a mixed-use town center.  Thomas is also assisting in the conceptual design, program definition, development budget, cost estimation and site analysis on DFI projects.  Prior to graduate school, Thomas worked as a community planner within Washington DC’s Office of Capital Projects and Planning and was involved in the District’s first public-private partnership dedicated to the creation of public open space. Thomas holds dual masters degrees in city and regional planning from UNC-Chapel Hill and landscape architecture from North Carolina State University and received his undergraduate degree from Brown University.
