DFI is a proud member of the Carolina community

As an initiative of the UNC School of Government, DFI is deeply connected to the academic mission of the University. DFI team members teach in courses for graduate students and public officials every year. The initiative also offers internships for graduate students.

Free project analysis by graduate students

The Community Revitalization course allows UNC-Chapel Hill graduate students to conduct market research, feasibility analysis, and financial modeling to help communities understand how they can attract private investment into community revitalization projects across North Carolina.
