Former DFI Fellows
Since 2011, DFI has offered graduate student fellowships in real estate and community economic development. These planning, business, and public administration students join multi-disciplinary teams that work with faculty, staff, and local government clients on DFI projects. DFI has trained more than 40 of these graduate students, which DFI refers to as Community Revitalization Fellows, and many of them work in local government and community development today. Seven former Fellows currently work for DFI. This on-the-ground education of graduate students has an impact beyond the work of local government clients by preparing the public servants of tomorrow.
